*The Signifance Of Our Past... June 10th, A.D 2008,

Perhaps to all of us, in the depths of our heart, at the back of our mind, we are constantly overshadowed by memories of our past, predominated by thoughts of sadness bought about by the scars of those painful wounds inflicted upon by our past that it has become even more difficult to harden our resolve to live through the present. When you walk through the present, you would actually realise that a lot of things which happened now are the result of decisions we made in the past.

A person whom you did not have the courage to confess to, marries another because he or she does not know your heart.

A person whom you did not feel you are worthy to be with, chose another because you did not believe in yourself in the first place.

However, somehow or rather, destiny always leads us back to where we belong. When you thought that the door to miracles would not open, things change and it opens by itself. The important part? It is not to grieve over yourself and your past but to use your courage to face up to the present and its realities. This, I believe, is the true significance of our past.
