"My obsession... Over- possession...", March 12th, A.D 2008,
Life is a funny thing. The more you do not want to lose something, the more you prevent something from moving away... the harder it is to keep something. For instance, friends or people who are important to you is one example. Somehow, you do not want them to drift away from you. You prevent them from making new friends. You do not like the idea of them being too nice with each other. You do not want them to keep any secret from you.
You become selfish, instead of being selfless. You become narrow hearted, instead of being somebody with a big heart. You become suspicious over the little little things, instead of being more trusting. Learn to trust and be trusted. Learn to forget and you learn how to forgive. Learn how to let go and you learn how to be more stress free or worry free. You learn how to be more carefree if you didnt be so overly-sensitive. You learn to be more at peace if you put down those unnecessary worries. You will learn to be a better person if you listen to what others have to say. You learn how to keep friends if you learn how to accept criticism.
The tighter you hold things, the less things you are able to keep. Remember the rope breaks if you pull too hard. Humans too, if you "stick" too hard. There are things which you'll treasure, things that you'll hold on to.
"Some things are meant to be treasured, not possessed."
I. Kyosuke
