*The stage of pretence and deception... March 25th, A.D 2008,

Have you tried believing in something with all your heart? Have you tried putting so much trust and faith in someone, expecting the outcome to be a fairytale ending and yet, to find the ending to be so different? Have you ever been made a promise by someone, only to find it broken too soon?

They say the world is a twisted place where there was nobody you could trust. Everyone is just using each other for their individualistic motives and selfish desires. It is like a stage where people put on masks for the act of pretence and deception.

There was no rule saying that one cannot pretend to be someone you're not. But why pretend? Why pretend to be somebody you're not? Why pretend to be so sorry when you are not? Why pretend to be interested when you are not the least interested? Why say things to leave a good impression of yourself when you couldnt deliver something you had promised? Why pretend to be sincere with your words when you do not mean what you say at all? Why try so hard to pretend when there is no real reason to do so at all?

Is believing too much a sin?

If it is, then the significance of getting to know someone better is meaningless and pointless. In the end, the person whom we know was never an existence to begin with. It is all but just an imaginary figure, putting on a pretentious act for the purpose of deception...
