*Words that were simple, yet, difficult... April 22nd, A.D 2008,

Have you realise that as we grow older, the words that are simple have become increasingly hard to say out?

When we were young, when we were kids, we can easily say those three words to our parents, to our loved ones without much difficulty. There were so much things we could easily say out if not for our egoistic self centreness.

However, as we grow older, we are increasingly always thinking about oursleves first..

"What about my reputation? "

" What would others think? "

" Oh... Isn't it embarrassing? "

These are the constant questions which keep popping in and out of our mind. But did it ever occur to you that the person whom you wanted to say those words to could not be here tomorrow? We could always think that we could always do it the next time. However, in reality, really how many "next time"s do we have to go through before we realise that there isn't always a next time?

The next time is when the person is on his or her dying bed. The next time is when he or she is no longer around. The next time is when you get the news that he or she is not around anymore. The next time is when you, yourself, is no longer in existence. The next time is the last time you would ever realise that there is no more next time.

Perhaps we should remember that words could wait for the lonely but time waits for nobody. So does life. So do you.
